Below are descriptions of these Events and Special Days.

Annual Open House – (Feb)

Besides our weekly Open House every Thursday, we offer a special Anual Open House in February. During our Open House in February 2009 we presented our “Discover the Magic” event which featured a full day of family entertainment including music with Mahri Sherlock (Childrens’ Musician), David Kendall (Magician), Tyron Clark (Tae Kwon Do Demonstration), French Play by West-Mont School students, and Marimba by West-Mont students.

Our School also received a Ready, Set, Learn grant for this event, and the first 50 three year olds to arrive received a reading package, including a free book.

Love of Books Tea

The Love of Books Tea takes place in February. Be a part of West-Mont’s own version of high tea. The highlight is the entertainment. The children of West-Mont showcase poetry, theatre, song and dance while guests partake of scones, Devonshire cream, preserves, fresh fruit, petite fours and of course, tea. The goal of this event is to provide books for the library which are available to purchase and donate throughout the event.
