Who We Are

Located in beautiful Metchosin on southern Vancouver Island, we are a Group 1 Independent School that offers a Montessori program from preschool to Grade 3, and an enriched BC curriculum to students from Grades 4 to 8.

West-Mont School has been delivering a Montessori program to the Western Communities for over 35 years. The past fifteen years has been a time of exciting growth for us. This has included the move to our stunning 8-acre property next to Witty's Lagoon Park in Metchosin, the expansion of our elementary program up to Grade 8 and most recently, the construction of our new Multipurpose Building with gymnasium and change rooms, a stage, and additional classroom facilities.

We invite you to browse our site to learn more about West-Mont School. However the best way to experience our program is to visit in person and see our school in action.

 

Weekly Open House

You are invited to attend our weekly Open House every Thursday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Our Open House gives you an opportunity to see first hand how West-Mont School provides students with an enriched educational experience that reflects our mission and guiding principles. Parents and children are invited to attend, no appointment necessary, just drop by for a visit.

If you would like your child to attend for 1/2 day, please let us know and we can make arrangements.
